Purpose

To define the different types of users who will be visiting the JASIG website and their objectives. 

 Discussion

Before getting too involved with the content of this new site, the technologies used, etc...,  let's revisit who will be using this site and why.  I'm no expert on creating personas but it may help to simply define the users here.  I'm also no expert on the JA-SIG community, so I'll only throw up some guesses and expect others to refine this:

• JA-SIG active community members (board members, commercial affiliates, etc...)
• uPortal managers
• CAS managers
• Prospective uPortal adopters
• Prospective CAS adopters
• uPortal contributors
• CAS contributors

What are the objectives of these users?

How will the site facilitate each users' objectives?
