07 Supported JSR-168 Portlet Modes

uPortal supports the JSR-168 modes required by the specification:

  • VIEW
  • EDIT
  • HELP

uPortal does not introduce additional nonstandard modes and it does not provide built-in support for adding additional portlet modes. However, the University of Wisconsin Madison has introduced an additional mode via local customization, so it has been proven feasible to add modes.
