The numbering scheme and distinctions between Major-Minor-Patch-Security releases, as well as criteria for determining what changes are appropriate for a given release are outlined in the uPortal Release Strategy.
Release Schedule
6 month development roadmaps are available after uPortal Developer Meetings linked off of the uPortal Framework Development wiki space. These roadmaps indicate broad areas of planned work and opportunities which are being targeted for the 6 months immediately following the developer's meeting.
JIRA is used to schedule and track individual issues and tasks for our releases. See the detailed uPortal 2 roadmap.
