Special Tuesday night activities

Cirque du Soleil will be performing Corteo at the Pepsi Center which is approximately 15-20 minutes from the conference hotel. If you want to get together to organize a group to go to this performance look for the Cirque du Soleil sign at the opening reception.

There are lots of options downtown. This is approximately at 10-15 minute drive from the hotel.

Golden

Several "Denver Excursions" sites listed a visit to Golden, Co. as a good destination. Among other things it includes the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave, the Colorado Railroad Museum, and for those that don't like good beer, the Coors Brewery

Bike tours
They have road bike tours, jeep trail tours, plus hiking, whitewater rafting, etc.
Whitewater rafting
It looks like Clear Creek would be a doable afternoon trip. Here's one outfitter that could be used.
Baseball
The Colorado Rockies baseball team will be on a road trip during the conference so a pro baseball game is out.
