CAS Community discussion list

This list is open to general community discussion. Topics that have been discussed include CASifying particular applications, usages of the CAS clients, configuration of CAS server, hacking on either the client or server, troubleshooting, comparison of CAS with other products, contributions of new clients, etc.

Please prefer the email lists

Experience on the CAS project and on other opensource projects suggests that we should prefer communication on-list. When possible, please ask questions and make comments about CAS on the discussion or development lists rather than off-list. Doing so preserves answers in Googleable archives, allows collaboration and multiple perspectives, and helps keeps the community aware of who is doing what with CAS, what the common questions are.

CAS framework Developers discussion list

This list is to facilitate collaboration of developers laboring on the CAS framework itself.

CAS framework Developers logistics discussion list

This list is for discussion of the logistics of CAS development. Meeting times. Conference call arrangements. Details of engineering a release. Nothing exciting or particularly interesting about CAS design, direction should be discussed on this list – the interesting discussions should happen on cas-dev.

French-language CAS lists

The ESUP-Portail project has fostered the growth of several French-language CAS lists.

CAS Client discussion lists

Communities of discussion have grown around some of the CAS clients.
