Milestones

Milestone releases should be announced to cas-dev for CAS framework developer awareness.

Release candidates

Release candidates should be announced to cas@ so that the CAS community can try out the RCs.

GA patch releases

Patch releases should be announced to cas@
A short news item should also be posted to The Server Side to raise awareness of the release.

GA minor and major releases

Minor and major CAS server releases should be announced to cas@.
A short announcement should also be posted to jasig-announce.
A larger news item should also be posted to The Server Side to raise awareness of the release.
