Note: to support JDK 1.5, a migration to the JAXP 1.3 API in the uPortal 2.4.x codebase was required. This will impact custom channels who use features of JAXP 1.2 that are no longer supported in the 1.3 API. See release notes for further information regarding JDK and JAXP support.
