When a user moves a tab left or right, the action is persisted but isn't reflected in the user's display until s/he logs out and back in again. Presumably the tab order is being cached somewhere.

This issue is being accepted as a "known issue" for 2.6.0 and may be addressed for the 2.6.1 patch release. Further improvements to the AJAX UI will likely be emergent from one or more schools exercising this approach in production.

This issue can no longer be replicated in the post-RC2 head.
