This is to allow clients to use their own request param wrapper (one that is not extended from RequestParamWrapper) class and let ChannelManager, DownloadDispatchWorker and StandaloneChannelRenderer be compatible. Currently, they cast to to RequestParamWrapper, so it makes it impossible to use anything else.
