Andrew, are you volunteering to maintain both versions of the documents to keep them in sync?

Not at this time.
Why again do we have two versions of this document in the first place? It's not clear to me that Word shouldn't be its native format, with a PDF, HTML version exported from that.

In any case, keeping them in sync shouldn't be an immediate issue, since at this time they are static final versions. The effort level to keep version 1.0.0 of this document in synch is by definition zero since version 1.0.0 cannot change, so the immediate "win" to be obtained here is to advertise the other flavors of the document from the long scrolly webpage.
However, real work, and real synchronization work, is required to go forward with further revisions to this doc.
