JA-SIG Orlando - All Java, all the time
Sunday, December 8 through Tuesday,
December 10, 2002 at the Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resort in
Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
The JA-SIG is pleased to welcome our colleagues to
fun-filled Orlando, Florida and the Hilton in Walt Disney World
Resort.
The Orlando conference tracks will include:
- Java development - introductory, intermediate, and advanced
technical sessions for Java developers.
- Technical topics such as connector architecture, system
administration, information retrieval, and web clients for
enterprise and legacy systems.
- Management topics with some real world "getting started"
examples.
The Java in Administration Special Interest Group
(JA-SIG) is an independent organization designed to increase the
flow of information between educational institutions and companies
involved in the development of administrative applications using
Java technology.
The JA-SIG conference goals are
to:
- Nurture communication of best practices, new technologies, and
innovative methodologies and projects related to Java
- Increase peer review, collaboration, and group discussion
related to institution-developed Java administrative
applications
- Broaden Java technology cross-fertilization between firms and
schools on both a functional and geographic basis
